Emerald Giants: The Legend of Eddy and Linda

Emerald Giants is a documentary 18 years in the making, filmed from 2003 to 2021 with more than 700 hours of footage capturing the life, work, and legacy of Eddy Lepp and Linda Senti. The cameras were there from the beginning, documenting Eddy’s Healing Field, his fight for medical cannabis rights, and the personal battles that shaped their lives.

The film follows Linda’s battle with cancer and final years, as well as Eddy’s trial, prison sentence, release, remarriage, and his own battle with cancer. Featuring appearances by influential figures including Jack Herer, Lynette Shaw, Dennis Peron, and others, Emerald Giants chronicles the Proposition 215 era and the movement that changed cannabis history.

This was not a story filmed from the outside. The filmmakers were there through raids, court battles, and personal struggles. During production, they were arrested twice, and director Jason Dunlap was placed on the federal RICO list alongside Eddy Lepp, though no charges were ever filed. After nearly two decades of filming, Emerald Giants preserves the complete story of Eddy, Linda, and the people who stood beside them.
